Ready to run?

"Girls we are having a run from SM City to Assumption..." Mr. Guintivanno said.

When I heard our class adviser said this I was really excited because it is going to be a fun experience. It will be the first time I will be running in a competition so I really invited my brothers and sisters to join so that it will be more enjoying. My sister did not accept my invitation because she will be taking the UP entrance test and my other sister also did not accept my invitation because told me that what will she going to get if she would run SM to Assumption. My sister that was going to take the test told our other sister that she will be going to win a Nike shirt that has a Assumption logo on it but my sister said "into mo ko?" my other sister said "wala a", they quarrel so I leave them. I went to my brother and ask him if he could go to the fun run he said "YES" in my mind i was saying "sa wakas may nag accept gid man sang invitation ko".

Sunday I woke up 4:00 and dress-up. Me and my brother went to SM City. The race started and i was really very confident that i was going to win. When I was already in smallville and i was starting quitting the the race because i was really very tired.

I was very happy and proud of my self because i finished the race but i didn't win it sorry for me:(

"NEVER STOP REACHING YOUR GOALS"
THAT WAS THE LESSON I HAVE LEARNED IN THE RUN.

Taize

"What! 6PM-6AM?" I said surprisingly "Are you joking me?"....

I was excited at the same time curious what is going to happen in the Taize Pilgrimage. One week before, I was trying to research about Taize and i found out that, that was used during world war in the Philippines. I also asked my sister because they went to a taize pilgrimage in manila, former student in Assumption, what did they do in their Taize Pilgrimage. My sister told me that in their Taize they would pray in their church in the barangay that was assigned for them to pray. She also told me that mostly the people who went there were like foreigners and i was also expecting in our Taize that there will be foreigners but unfortunately there was none but that's ok because there were also other schools that take part in that pilgrimage.

I was happy that day even though I was very exhausted, because I was able to pray for world peace and get to know other people.

i will also remember that day because that was the first time I was awake for 24 hours.

Centennial Mass

"All hail Assumption!"
That was the quotation I saw going in my beautiful school that is turning a hundred years in service. Assumption was the first school that went into and I am proud of it because I met a lot of beautiful people inside and out. In that school I have also met a lot of challenges that I will keep forever in myself.

Which school has occupied the whole Cathedral for a mass? I think... in my own experience the school that has occupied Cathedral was only Assumption.

In that mass in Cathedral I also saw some people that are known in Iloilo like Joe III and I was proud that I saw him in person. I was really like that because me and my sister is really competing how many celebrity we have seen in person....

To end this blog that whole day was a day to remember in my life and i will never forget it because I was alive when Assumption had its 100 years.
